What's included in this vinyl flooring installation kit?
The kit includes the three basic tools used to position click-lock flooring and maintain the required perimeter space. Always follow the installation instructions supplied with your flooring.
- Pull bar: draws edge planks into position where a tapping block has limited clearance.
- Tapping block: helps seat compatible click-lock joints while spreading impact across the plank edge.
- 30 expansion spacers: help maintain the perimeter gap specified by the flooring manufacturer.
What other tools do you need to install vinyl plank flooring?
Prepare a tape measure, pencil, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, level, and the cutting tool recommended for your flooring. A utility knife, flooring cutter, jigsaw, or undercut saw may also be needed depending on the product and room layout.
